Fortunate to be part of  Commonwealth

THE recent ABC television program about the Queen’s Jubilee presented by Prince Charles prompted me to enlighten the people of Australia as to how fortunate they are.

Obviously, there will be minority of dissenters (that’s their propensity) that will not accept this truism.

We, the Australians of yesteryear are eternally grateful for the UK to embrace us as a member of the Commonwealth.

This small “chunk of soil” named Australia, by the British, would have to be the most desirable island on the planet.

The reasons are self evident. So  those minority who want Australia to secede from the Commonwealth need intense psychiatry.

Obviously heritage does not come into the reasoning of these allusive people.
