THE 16-year-old Moree youth charged with murder over the death of fellow teenager Mitchell Bartram has been remanded in custody until his next court appearance on February 25.

During his brief appearance before Moree District Court yesterday via video link, no application for bail was made.
The youth was arrested on Sunday, November 11 after an altercation in Balo St.
During the altercation, 16-year-old Mitchell Bartram was stabbed. He was taken to Moree hospital where he died a short time later.
