At the station’s annual general meeting, the 10 – a mix of both experienced and new management members – were elected from the attending 31 members.
Management members include president Timothy Gaynor, vice-president Stewart Nicol, secretary Lisa Heyman, treasurer Judy Walmsley and committee members Heather Bailey, John Brand, Errol Bourne, Peter Hons, Noel Victor and Kieran Gaynor – who will represent youth affairs.
Mr Gaynor, 18, is the youngest person ever elected to the management board in its 30-year history.
He has been involved with the station for the past three years and his job will be getting youth involved in community radio.
One of the station’s founding members, David Mead, also attended the meeting and counted the election result tallies.
All the new directors are looking forward to instigating an all-new approach of open and accountable management in all aspects of the station, including programming, production and community relations.
They are inviting the community to get involved with the process by becoming members.
