Nock will start the Mind The Games-Total Finance bay gelding in his debut race run, which will hold special significance for Nock as the $10,000 feature race is named in honour of her grandfather Merv Corliss.
The race also carries a BOBS bonus of $5000, making for a tidy winner's purse.
In starting Mind The Money, Nock is hopeful the Romantic Dream Plate remains in the family keeping, after aunt Leslie Jeffriess won last year's race with Irish Loup.
Jeffriess had Emello Boy and Baldy Paws nominated for the original October 1 race meeting, but will not be racing at Tamworth tomorrow, leaving Nock to fly the flag.
"We took this bloke on for an education. He had a few problems and we gave him a couple of trials," Nock said.
"He went on to be sensible so we got him a start."
The horse won his trial at Tamworth last week, and Nock has enlisted Darren Jones for the ride, the same combination that proved successful in the trials.
"He's (Jones) pretty good with young horses," Nock said.
Mind The Money will start from the outside barrier and is not likely to head the field.
"He hasn't got a real lot of early pace. He leaves his burst to the finish," Nock said.
She will race Mind The Money for owners Barry and Margaret John and Ray Osland, and also has Jadabro starting in the third race on the program, the Shell Rimula Express Maiden Plate (1200m).
"She was showing a bit of form last time," Nock said.
Nine horses will line up in the Romantic Dream Plate including Graham Hill's Miraba, who is the only horse in the field remaining from the washed-out October meeting.
