And no, they won't be playing with a round ball.
Werris Creek has a good record against the Lions in Werris Creek.
The Magpies won last year's encounter and drew the clash 38-all at David Taylor Park in the conference round before they were beaten 54-28 at Scully Park.
"We've had a draw and then they gave us a touch-up. So we've got to square up," Werris Creek coach Ron Dellar said on Thursday night.
The Creek are three points out of the top four and need three wins in a row to have any chance of making the finals.
Dellar said Cory Wilson, usually a centre, has got the number on his back he's always wanted for tomorrow's fixture
"He's wanted the number 13 jumper for a long time and now he's got it," Dellar said.
In a major blow to the Creek's chances, playmaker Stewart Porter has been ruled out of the match, although Dellar said he was still keen to take part.
"He's out. He reckons he's playing but he won't be playing," Dellar said on Thursday night
"He's torn his calf muscle and didn't play the last 20 minutes of last week."
The Magpies are quite capable of scoring the points but Dellar conceded a tight defence would be crucial against a side like West.
And as for West's strength?
"I know who their strength is. The bloke who has got number nine on his back," Dellar said.
Dellar was referring to Mick Schmiedel but the wily old hooker will have a seven on his back tomorrow.
West Lions half Richard Coombes has a hairline fracture of his foot and was being given until today to be fit although coach Tony La Chiusa said yesterday West was unlikely to risk him.
La Chiusa also expected Porter to take the field for the Creek
"He'll play. He wouldn't miss this one," La Chiusa said.
"When Fuzz (Porter) played with us he was on one leg for six weeks before the grand final but he still played."
The Lions welcome Jamie Campbell (hooker) and Jake Thomas (bench) back for today's game.
La Chiusa said Campbell was "probably the quickest guy over 10 metres in the group" and expected him to add some zip around the dummy half area.
Michael Saunders (fullback) and Warwick Saddler (centre) return from injury to boost the Creek's chances.
o The quote of the week goes to West Lions coach Tony La Chiusa, who had a laugh when he discussed Mick Schmiedel's North Tamworth dream team for 2003: "The names he's coming up with, it's like he's taking a lucky dip at Nazareth House," La Chiusa joked.
