on the bench against Narrabri tomorrow.
Tighe fractured his arm against Runaway Bay in the Country Challenge Plate clash and has been out of action since.
His presence on the bench indicates the wellspring of talent at the Moree club.
Moree Rugby League Club manager Rodney Schoupp rates Tighe highly.
"On his day Trevor is one of the best forwards in the group," Schoupp said.
"He's an 80 minute worker. Very solid in his hit-ups and in defence."
"Once he smells the line, then he's over," Schoupp said.
Tighe is a member of the Group 4 senior squad and trained with the squad in Gunnedah on Wednesday night.
Narrabri coach Wayne Hetherington said he would use Moree as "the yardstick" for how his team is going.
"We've got to be prepared to tackle for 80 minutes and hopefully we get the bounce of the ball," he said.
The Blues have lost back-rower Glenn Collins and prop Matthew Smith with broken jaws.
Hetherington said prop Adam Lawty, while young, was capable off filling the breach.
"He's a robust front-rower," Hetherington said.
"He'll take it up all day, can pop a nice ball and is good in defence."
The clash between Moree's Malcolm Peckham and Narrabri's Paul Smith should provide plenty of interest.
Both have been in outstanding form already in the pre-season.
Narrabri five-eighth Jarred Hetherington said the fixture, while not a derby in the same sense as the Narrabri-Wee Waa clashes, was always "a bit of a tussle."
The Boars have built up in the off season and have strengths in every position.
"Everyone right across the park is going to have to dig in. They've got strength everywhere," Jarred Hetherington said.
"It's not a game where you can say you can hold them in the forwards and get them in the backs or hold them in the backs and get them in the forwards."
Meanwhile Wayne Hetherington pinpointed his rival coach Tony Murray as a man the Blues don't want to see running rampant.
With his tongue firmly in his cheek, Hetherington made the following comment:
"We don't want to let Tony Murray get into space and show his speed."
Murray may have something to say about that.
