An enormous 1232 entries were received for the two days resulting in a massive 1129 runs.
Officials started both days at 6.30am with Saturday night's program finishing under lights at 11.20pm.
Spokeswoman Jan Hahn said all the competitors were pleased with the safe condition of the arena, which had been ploughed on the Friday.
"Competitors came from all over NSW: from the Hunter, North Coast, Central Coast, North and North West, Sydney, out West and even from Queensland," Hahn said.
"Goonoo Goonoo station lent the committee 1100 head of Santa Gertrudis cattle, which is very much appreciated and extremely generous."
The Goonoo Goonoo cattle were walked to the Dungowan Recreation reserve over two days, requiring a large team of musterers and drovers.
A further 120 head of cattle were lent by local graziers Tracey and Kelvin Kane (Woolomin) for the junior events.
Tim Hollis (Flo Jo) won the Geoff Smith Memorial Open Draft with 175 points from Jason Wanstall (Latoya). Pat Smith (Doc's Attitagain) and Bob Palmer (Breezelite) were equal third on 170.
Bruce Hollis (Selena) won the Goonoo Goonoo Feature Novice Draft by a point from Keith Hourigan (Rego) 264 to 263. Michael Rapley (Knight's Reverend) and Andrew Lockyer (Alert) were tied for third on 249.
Rapley also had good fortune in the Maiden Draft. Riding Spinnett, he posted a winning 89 points. Michael Wilson (Ripple) was second with 87 while Steven Blackadder (Little Wasp) was third on 86 and James Key (Tip Toe) was a point back in fourth spot.
Charlie Colless won the Junior (8 to Under 13) Draft. Riding Pulsa, he scored 83 plus 68 to beat Bill Tonkin (Schilla Snake) 83 plus 20 with Jason Burns (Lipton) 83 plus 15 third.
The Encouragement Draft was won by Mark Barnett (Sable). He beat Mick Maloney (Image) with Ian Adams (Buzzdate Charlie) third.
Tim Oakley (Goldust) won the Juvenile Draft from Amanda Connor (Coco), Kylie Barnett (Mudginbery) and Joshua Greenwood (Remembrance).
The Ladies Draft was taken out by Leslie Apps (Focus). Georgia Lyon (Just Blue) and Rhonda Schiffman (Cert) tied for second with Charmaine Kesby (Panther) fourth.
