Where were the Nats in backing farmers?

Where were the Nats in backing farmers?

06 Aug, 2011 04:00 AM
IT WAS good to see Senator Lee Rhiannon in Narrabri to hear from councils and individuals about coal seam gas mining, aquifers and the debate on coal companies buying up the best agriculture land in Australia.

Before going to Canberra, Ms Rhiannon was a MLC in Macquarie St.

She joined forces at the Caroona fight with farmers to save their land.

What strange bedfellows the Greens and the farmers are together.

In this case, the Greens, who supported the farmers at Caroona, fully supported the farmers against these multi-national and overseas companies.

Where was the National Party?
