HOW sad to hear of Patrick Swayze’s passing.
I thought he was a fine young actor.
Some years ago he did a film called Red Dawn that ought to become a training film for the Australian Defence Force on how not to allow a nation’s defences to remain third world.
The difference between Red Dawn’s high school teenagers fighting an enemy with bolt-action rifles and bows and arrows, and 2009’s state of readiness for an invader, is extremely narrow.
Like a piece of hair between the two.
