Local trio new to board

11 Aug, 2009 08:39 AM
TAMWORTH regional councillor Ray Tait, along with as Tamworth residents Charles McCarthy and Scott McLachlan, has been appointed as a new member to the Northern Inland Regional Development Australia (RDA) committee.

Welcoming the new members, NSW Minister for Regional Development Phil Costa said they would join chair, Kevin Abey and deputy chair, Kevin Dupé.

The new RDA committee replaces the former State-funded Regional Development Board and federally-funded Area Consultative Committee.

Other new committee members include Dr Neil Argent from Armidale and Heather Ranclaud from Willow Tree.
