It’s the race that stops the nation, the Melbourne Cup, and those who can’t make it to Victoria for the big race can find plenty of action at the jockey club from 10am.

The club will host five races with plenty of food, drinks and betting facilities available.

Gates open at 10am with an entry fee of $15. The event is strictly for those 18 years old and over.

Tamworth Jockey Club racing operations manager Victoria Toy urged locals to attend.

“Come along and have a great day out. We’ve got plenty of places to watch the big race.”
